Initial situation
Synersight managed and controlled the manufacturing of its products from its own ERP (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central). As it was not adapted to the specific needs of its manufacturing, this resulted in a lack of control in managing manufacturing orders, a lack of control over data, and human errors due to manual management.
On top of that, there was the cost of licences for users who accessed the ERP only to modify or update manufacturing order data.
They also needed to be able to integrate external tools, such as coverage checks, recruitment processes, and signature.
They needed a partner experienced in custom application development, capable of building applications with no licence fees and no user limits.
That is when their ERP partner recommended that they work with us.
An agile methodology as the engine for change
A company with a well-defined roadmap and clear ideas about its digital transformation must be methodical. If we add to this the need to create interactions and integrations between the different tools already in use and those that are about to arrive — before, during, and after — we find ourselves facing a scenario that requires agility.

Our own methodology, based on SCRUM with KANBAN visualisation and organisation, allows us to involve the client in decisions and priorities by integrating them into the development team — creating the superpower of anticipating problems that may arise during project development.

- Custom manufacturing control portal, with role-based access and secure users.
- Management of manufacturing orders, components, products, and batches, as well as the lead times associated with each order.
COMMUNICATION AND INTEGRATION CHANNELS
For Synersight’s TDP portal, we developed integrations with other company tools, such as the Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP, to save on licences and send real-time data. This way, we ensured that each tool we developed can be independent and evolve by interconnecting them.
