Initial situation
Axial provides high-quality structural systems, covering all phases of the design, manufacturing, and installation process. Thanks to this quality, the number of requests for cost estimation and analysis of the different projects submitted to them keeps increasing, along with their complexity.
Its many departments and the associated staff also continue to grow, so more traditional communication and information management tools are no longer an option. They increasingly rely on human capacity and lead to slow management processes, breakdowns in communication, and an accumulation of errors.
They therefore needed a tool capable, first of all, of centralising and sharing information, while being agile and intuitive, bringing together a process in which all departments of the company participate, guiding and alerting, thus avoiding errors and reducing unnecessary communications. And it needed to be scalable, enabling future integrations planned in their roadmap.
An agile methodology as the engine for change
A company with a well-defined roadmap and clear ideas about its digital transformation must be methodical. If we add to this the need to create interactions and integrations between the different tools already in use and those that are about to arrive — before, during, and after — we find ourselves facing a scenario that requires agility.
Agility is the ability to adapt to change, adjust timelines and priorities, and above all, to respond quickly to issues and provide solutions.
Our own methodology, based on SCRUM with KANBAN visualisation and organisation, allows us to involve the client in decisions and priorities by integrating them into the development team — creating the superpower of anticipating problems that may arise during project development.
That is the difference between being reactive and being proactive, between being a participant or being the driving force of your digital transformation. It is the difference between being present and standing out.

Here is a summary of the project delivered for Axial Structural:
THE PROJECT
Internal portal dedicated to managing proposals for large photovoltaic installation projects.
On this multi-user, multi-role portal, each department — made up of different technical profiles and administrators — participates collaboratively in creating and updating these proposals.
The final outcome is a PDF document generated dynamically, with the ability to preview, edit, and even generate different versions of the document.
CALCULATIONS AND TRACEABILITY
As part of this project, we implemented all possible cases of internal calculations specific to each department, including the calculation formulas and the conditions specific to each department.
We also implemented a data traceability system that provides full control over the actions performed by each user and for each block of information.
MULTIPLE PROGRAMMING MODULES
In addition to our programming core, developed for more than 5 years, and due to the need to be agile in form management, we built a dynamic form management system, turning them into fully editable forms and enabling the client to be autonomous and independent in managing their platform.
