Initial situation
The MasMóvil group is made up of a set of brands/companies that have gradually joined the group. Each of them has an independent methodology in terms of presence, operations, and promotion.
They needed a provider capable of unifying the management of the brands’ portals, as well as each brand’s specific way of operating. A software provider with advanced knowledge of online presence, who could create new web portals and position them in a demanding environment where each brand sells the same services as the others.
They also needed to be able to integrate external tools, such as coverage checks and the subscription and signature processes.
That’s how, in 2018, we had the opportunity to show that it is not enough to be present, and that you should not settle for a comfort zone that allows you neither to grow nor to transform technologically.
An agile methodology as the engine for change
A company with a well-defined roadmap and clear ideas about its digital transformation must be methodical. If we add to this the need to create interactions and integrations between the different tools already in use and those that are about to arrive — before, during, and after — we find ourselves facing a scenario that requires agility.
Agility is the ability to adapt to change, adjust timelines and priorities, and above all, to respond quickly to issues and provide solutions.
Our own methodology, based on SCRUM with KANBAN visualisation and organisation, allows us to involve the client in decisions and priorities by integrating them into the development team — creating the superpower of anticipating problems that may arise during project development.
That is the difference between being reactive and being proactive, between being a participant or being the driving force of your digital transformation. It is the difference between being present and standing out.
